KC Raised is a video oriented project with the hope to document the “how to’s” that go into cultivating a small patch of ground in the middle of an urban environment.

In addition to gardening information, there are cooking and food preparation segments as well as tours of other gardens in urban areas of Kansas City. The series is hosted by Laurie, a lawyer by day, and produced by her husband Mike the owner of a small video production company, Blue Wall Design. Together they have two teenage boys who help out reluctantly from time to time.
